ABOUT

This Tournament Has Everything (TTHE) is a Womens/Trans/Non-Binary Inclusive hockey weekend held on the Sunshine Coast BC in ch'atlich (Sechelt).

This will be our THIRD annual tournament and we are completely thrilled to invite you to join our dream for another fun, fair and feel good time.

All participants will register as individual players and will be placed on teams. This approach helps balance team skill and encourage connection and community to build new friendships.

TTHE hockey tournament is committed to creating, sustaining, and supporting a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion in hockey.

We are a small local tournament run on 100% volunteer efforts. With continued invaluable sponsorship and fundraising, our goal is to keep this tournament as affordable and accessible as possible. We were able to raise $1100 in 2023 and $2100 in 2024 from our dance party bar sales to donate to Sunshine Coast Youth Outreach which provides drop in programs for queer and  gender diverse youth.

“I decided to throw this type of a tournament because I wanted players who don't necessarily feel included in hockey to know that they have a place on the ice. TTHE Hockey Tournament was meant to promote and advocate diversity and inclusiveness in the sport."

“After playing hockey for 7 years as a kid, I found the sporting world to be an increasingly intimidating and confusing place. Rediscovering hockey as an adult and participating in the TTHE 2nd annual tournament as a player & photographer has brought me so much joy and healing. I am grateful for this community and I am excited to help further the tournament’s reach.”

"It's been such a joy to witness what a positive impact TTHE Tournament has had on folks. From individual players to youth outreach programs to small and local businesses. I love being part of an event that celebrates women, queer and trans communities. It's so empowering the things we can accomplish when we come together. Go sports!”

"Sports are very binary and as a trans non-binary player, it’s tough to find room that feels safe on the bench. I spent my twenties and early thirties just doing late night mens drop-ins which meant changing alone in the dressing room and never really getting to know any players. Being able to experience the connection and inclusion of a team has been so inspiring.”
